This Comenius multilateral school partnership comes out from the wish of improving approaches and teaching techniques by making a desk game inspired by the European tracks and taking as model the Game of the Goose. It will involve various school subjects, specifically, History, Geography, Arts, ICT, Mathematics, Technology and English. Secondly, it will give the opportunity of learning about the different cultures of the partner regions in the project, using English as a vehicular language.
Here are some steps which show the Italian team's workflow from the choice of the game board, to the mascot, the logo and the game box.
Introducing the twin countries to each other by presenting the chosen trail: in this case it's the "via Francigena".

Rules of the game:
At the end of this project we are expected to know more about our schoolmates coming from abroad.
We will have exchanged information and experiences and played the game created on purpose for this work.
One of the most useful goals of the project is the possibility of collaborating with teachers of many subjects, all those ones involved in the questions/answer quiz, which allows players to jump to the game board squares.
Most of the team's decisions have been taken during the meetings but a lot has been managed in a virtually collaborative way to shorten geographical distances.
