*More flavoring + more
chemicals+ more inhaling
= less harm?
Tobacco companies have
purchased many of these
Nucleus accumbens - dopamine
Why more dangerous??
One joint vs. 5 cigs – inhaling drag for marijuana longer and hold it longer.
THC enters the hippocampus and kicks out dopamine. 5 weeks to ONE year to leave body. Cigarettes leave the body in 18 hours.
THC causes brain cells to slow down. Acetocolene is a brain chemical that makes you learn. Marijuana users ages 11-20 have a 20% decrease later on in life.
Let's just legalize it!!
*Younger users will smoke leading to more problems.
*Rates of teen dropout rates would increase, leading to higher rates of mental illness , depression, anxiety, and suicide.
*Jobless rates would increase.
*Medical use does not outweigh the physical harm. The harm is not always immediate.
