What is LEAN?
- Producing what is needed, When it is needed, with the minimum amount of materials, equipment, labor, and space

- Maximize customer value while minimizing waste. Simply, lean means creating more value for customers with fewer resources.

Incidental Work (NVA)
Any work carried out that does not increase product value
Any activity that does not add value to the product and hence something you dont want to be doing
