Air Canada started off with $5 million and 3 airplanes, a crop duster and 2 Lockheed Electra’s on April 10th 1937. By Sept 1 1937 they had their fist two costumers along with mail the flight went from Vancouver to Seattle the flight took 50 minutes.1938 the weather became an issue so the TCA invented a de-icing solution, they also got their fist flight attendant who helped with the weather pattern and feed the passengers food and drinks. In April 1, 1939, they had a transnational passenger service between Montreal and Vancouver, with stops in Ottawa, North Bay, Kapuskasing, Winnipeg, Regina and Lethbridge. The flight takes 15 hours. In 1941 they added Moncton and Halifax to the flight root and by 1946 they introdussed hot meals and freezing foods to heat up in the flight. in the same year they got new heaters for those cold flights. Air Canada added air cargo for long distance shipping/mailing, By 1948 they marked there 2-millionth passenger. By 1958 introduced anti-skid brakes and weather alert systems making there progress faster. Today air Canada is a very popular airport.

My world view has changed because, looking at the the timeline, I noticed that all of the changes were because of what the consumers want and need, not what the airline wants and needs. When Air Canada almost went bankrupt, the government gave them money to keep them afloat, which in turn increased their tourism. Everything that any company does, is to make the consumer happier, in turn makes their company better, in turn making their company more profitable.
