Transcript of Why Practice Yoga

YOGA Imagine yourself stepping into the Yoga studio Smelling the relaxing scent of incense and feeling the positive energy as you walk in. You lay out your mat, start the class with a seated meditation and setting an intention for your practice. Then you start working out, stretching and experimenting with your body and breath by doing the "asanas" (poses), feeling what is like being in the present moment. Afterwards, you get to rest in Savasana, allowing yourself to relax deeply and recharge your batteries. As you leave the room, you can feel the benefits of your practice in your body and mind, feeling renewed and relaxed, ready to face the next hours until your next Yoga class!
