From later 1940s until 1973 immigration dominated, in the late 1960s peaking. 

Because of years of crop failure in the 1840s and 1860s, emigration started and grew.

1960s, approximately 50,000 immigrants lived in Norway mostly the people were from European countries.

Almost 850,000 Norwegians between 1825 and 1945 emigrated to foreign countries.

Waves of immigration occurred only during 1890-World War II, and again after 1990.

Emigration began in the 2nd half of the 19th century when Finns set out for the United States and Canada.

Executive branch is king, Prime minister, Council of Ministers.

The Legislative body is made up of 169 parliament members.

The Judicial system is made up of appellate courts, city and county courts.
Finland’s type of government is Constitutional Republic.

Executive branch is made up of the president , prime minister, Council of State.

Legislative branch is made up of one legislative chamber parliament.

Judicial branch is made up of Supreme Court, regional appellate courts, local courts.
