-Thought to be cause of extinction of dinosours.

-Motion caused by gravatational pull between planets. Meteor Showers Meteors come in sizes as small as a grain of sand, and the biggest reach the size of a boulder. There has been meteorite impacts such as the Arizona Crater and the Chicxulub Crater. Meteors often occur in the mesophere. A fireball is a brighter than usual meteor, it may be brighter than most planets. A meteor may be various colors depending on the chemical composition as it travels through the atmosphere. A tektite is a natural glass rock formed by impact of large meteorites on the Earth's surface. They are only a few centimeters in size. As a Meteor travels through Earth's surface, it heats up and causes a streak following the meteor. Meteor
