The 5th most common risk in a science lab is Inhalation of Chemicals. This is when you breathe in chemicals. It can cause burning in the eyes, nose and thorat in minutes of inhalation.

The 4th most common risk in a science lab is Ingestion of chemicals. This is commonly caused by accidentally getting it on your hands and not washing them and eating something and it goes onto your food.
Number 3
The 3rd most common risk in a science lab is Chemical and Thermal Burns. This is usually caused by inorganic chemicals such as mineral acids getting on your skin and if you have a hot plate in your lab you can put your hand or body part on the plate.

The most common risk in a science lab is a fire. This can be caused by Bunsen burners, open flames and sometimes explosions.
