Transcript of Gun Control
Mentally unstable people won't be able to get their hands on guns.
Most suicides are committed with guns, so the amount of suicides should go down.
States with some form of gun control laws have fewer crimes. Action Plan It violates the 2nd Amendment
Many stats show that states with strict gun control still have high amounts of gun-related murders.
Gun Control was used by dictators in the 20th Century to take over their countries.
Gun Control is good in theory, but bad in execution.
The implementation of a ban of all guns would be unrealistic. Public Policy Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms

Firearms and Liberty All gun purchases will require a background check. This includes purchases at stores, gun shows and private sales. The background check will be completed by the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI). The background check will help prevent those with a criminal history or a mental illness from obtaining a gun. Advantages Disadvantages Alternative Policies We know what type of people have guns
Keep guns away from criminals
Mentally ill people cant buy guns Less Privacy
FBI does a background check
It will take longer to obtain a gun This policy will keep guns out of the hands of criminals and the mentally ill but will still allow law abiding citizens to obtain firearms as provided by the second amendment. Enforce a ban on all firearms, which would make even owning a gun illegal.
Enact a mild form of gun control, which would make it harder for criminals and the mentally ill to obtain firearms by having to pass a more strict background check and also complete a gun safety test .
Pass no form of gun control, where anybody can purchase a firearm with a basic background check. Our Plan
Contact our local state representative or another political figure to stress the importance of our Constitutional Rights, and taking away our firearms would take away the integrity of the Constitution.

http://www.balancedpolitics.org/gun_control.htm Bibliography What are the problems with Gun Control and why do people have issues with it?
* History proves that Gun Control simply does not work, criminals are law-breakers, what makes government think that one law will simply stop criminals from obtaining a weapon? Examples are China and Russia.
* By eliminating the availability of guns does not mean the viloence will stop, that just means killings will occur with different weapons (Knives, bombs, fire, etc.) Why should Government be involved in this issue? *Government should continue to obey the Second amendment " rights of the people to keep and bear arms"
*Some people believe that when more citizens have arms the better the chances are that you are not going to be killed in an armed attack.... Pearl River MS High Shooting, a 16 year old had killed two, but was stopped by an armed assistant principal that held him for quite some time until police arrived and arrested him. This proves that when there is somebody at an armed attack they have the opportunity to stop the shooting/attack, therefore keeping everyone safe." http://prmgroup.biz/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/prevent-school-shootings-300x183.jpg
