Developers of videogames and consoles are looking for different ways to make us, the gamers, feel that we can live inside the videogames.
It is a specific kind of software, that can be executed with a hardware: computers, cellphones or videogame consoles.
Non Linear Games.
The main character must keep moving on along the story and it has to interact with different characters, objects or the environment.
These kind of games let the gamer improve its mental skills.
Mathematics, logics, history, art, languages are the principal themes used by this genre.
These kind of games are based on the attack body-to-body between characters.
The main character must kept safe, survive fighting with lots of monsters and escape successfully from situations similar to a thriller-and-horror movie.
The main character has to walk, jump or climb up platforms and cliffs, full of enemies, while it is picking up many objects to complete all the levels.
It can move only to the left or to the right.
The stages are bidimensional.
The main character has to improve its skills while interacts with other characters or the environment.
These are games focused on music.
The gamer must solve different problems and/or improve its skills.
In this kind of game could have a chronometer, becoming a challenge against the clock.
The gamers have to beat different challenges between them and reach the goal, or get the maximum possible amount of points.
These kind of videogames are based on different sports practiced around the world.
The gamer can drive vehicles that could be real or ficticious, modify them if it is required, and win the races.
NON LINEAR GAMES
The gamer is free to choose different ways to complete the missions, and it can move freely around the map.
It is the term used to define the videogame player.
According to the level of dedication and interest, a gamer could be:
Wireless controllers and movement detectors were created for a better interaction between humans and videogames.
Videogames could be downloaded and stored in console's internal memory, thanks to the evolution of the internet service (Broadband).
Games could be updated via internet.
Were developed sophisticated graphic chips, giving more realistic images.
Consoles could be connected to a Wi-Fi network.
HD Technology was applied.
Lots of characters are moving around the map to reach all the objetives.
It is the most dedicated and interested between the gamers. This kind of gamer spends a lot of time playing and taking information about videogames.
This kind of gamer plays occasionally, has some knowledges about videogames and it doesn´t try to reach the top of the challenges or be the best.
This kind of gamer doesn´t know anything about videogames and it spends less time playing than a regular gamer.
The main character has to move along the maps and shoot different weapons to reach the objectives.
