The song says " well you can tell everybody, yeah you can tell everybody, go head and tell everbody, i'm the man, i'm the man, yes i am, yes i'am, yes i'm..." This song relates to Walter because at the end of the book he finally gets to be the man of the house.
What is love (Ruth)
The song says "I don't know why you're not there, i give you my love but you don't care. So what is right? What is wrong?" This song relates to Ruth because all she wants is to be happy but Walter keeps being mean to her, telling her that nobody cares about her.

This song relates to Ruth because she doesn't know what to do with the baby she is going to have. and she is trying be be strong.

The song says "So am i wrong, for thinking that we could be something for real? Now am i wrong for trying to reach the things that i can't see? This song relates to Beneatha because she has a goal, to become a doctor but her family questions her decitions.

When Linder first came to talk to the younger family he took his time to get to the point. most of the trouble exists because people just don't sit down and talk to each other".

This song relates to the whole family because at first they didn't have enough money and they lived in a small apartment, that was really crowded. At the end of the book, they had money and bought their own house.
