Buses depart from Cambridge High School to Atlanta
Air Travel
International transatlantic flights typically include at least one main meal and one snack & complimentary soft drinks in each direction.
Some carriers may require payment for headsets to hear audio channels.
Trumpets and smaller instruments are considered carry-on luggage.
Percussion, large instruments & uniforms will be shipped beforehand & transported to the hotel.

Price per person:
All prices include airfare, airport & government taxes, fees, charges & surcharges.
This price may vary due to fluctuations of currency exchange rates, oil prices, etc. If it does, Youth Music of the World will adjust the price accordingly.
Additional Costs:
Each person going on the trip will need to have an up-to-date passport.
You will want to bring extra money for food, souvenirs and emergencies.
If the total cost of your souvenirs are more than $800, you will have to pay taxes when we arrive back in the US.
All tips & taxes to all service providers. It is considered appropriate for a gratuity to be presented to the Resource Person at the end of the performance program, which is not included. However, the Cambridge Band Booster Club will be paying the tip to the Resource Person.

5th Deposit - $600 PER PERSON by September 1, 2014
FINAL DEPOSIT - $1345* PER PERSON by November 1, 2014

*Plus or minus any variations in airline, airport & government taxes, fees, & surcharges or currency exchange plus any further payments due for selected extras.

The first payment is nonrefundable. All other deposits are refundable until April 15, 2014. No refunds will be made after that date unless specific traveler falls under the included Insurance coverage.
Once we land
Round trip transfers from London airport to hotel by luxury coach, including specialist "meet & greet" service on arrival, and check-in assistance service on departure.
Transportation of musical instruments from airport to hotel. Provision of storage room at hotel.
6 night accommodations in a centrally located superior first class hotel in London.
All bedrooms have an in suite bathroom including bath and/or shower, W.C., television, radio, direct dial telephone, hair dryer, etc.
Students may be accommodated in quad & triple bedded rooms, but generally in twin or double rooms.
Adults are accommodated in twin or double rooms, and may pay a surcharge for a room of single occupancy.
Some family rooms are available in selected hotels offering accommodations for 4 people.

Continental breakfast provided each day at the hotel.
4-5 dinners in the London hotel or in a restaurant convenient to the itinerary. Each dinner will consist of at least 2 courses (entree & dessert) served from specially pre-selected menus.
Meal vouchers with a value of £ 12.00 British pounds each meal (approximately US $19), exchangeable in nearly 4,000 London restaurants & fast food outlets for 3 meals.
Educational Tours
A half day educational tour of London's historic West End & City (3 1/2 hours).
A full day excursion to the Tower of London & Greenwich including a visit to the London 2012 Olympic Park & a cruise on the River Thames. Entrance fees will be included to the Tower of London, Crown Jewels, The Greenwich Royal Observatory & the "Prime Meridian".
A full day excursion to the Town of Windsor coupled with either a visit to the historic University City of Oxford or the Tudor Palace of the Hampton Court.
All above tours will be conducted on luxury private chartered motor coach with a professional guide.

The walks are delivered through a unique souvenir MP3 player.

Each audio guided walk lasts approximately 2 hours.

The director will make the choice of two of three speciality tours. These include Murder, Mystery, and Mayhem in Old London; London - Rock and Roll Capital of the World; Harry Potter's London.
Additional Inclusions
Provision of Transport for London (TFL) "Day Travel Cards" to allow unlimited use of London's extensive underground railway (Tube) system everyday of the program except the day of return to the US.
Youth Music will arrange for our group to attend a special London New Year's Eve celebration held in our hotel or one close by. A professional disco & light show and party favors are provided. Refreshments in the form of a
soft drink & snack bar will be available. Transportation, where necessary, will be included.
Day of the Parade
A 10"x8" print of the group with the back drop of the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. This photo is presented to each performing member in a special souvenir 2015 folder.
A specially struck 2014/2015 London New Year's Day Parade Festival Medal for all performing members.
A ticket for a seat in the highly coveted New Year's Day Parade Grandstands for all non-performing members of the group.

Special London Rehearsals
Once marching season is over, the marching band will continue to rehearse to prepare for the parade performance.
Students that play sports after marching season must understand that these rehearsals are important and they will be expected to be at each of them.
Additional London Meetings/Fundraisers
All additional meetings concerning the London trip are MANDATORY!!!
All families are expected to participate and volunteer in the fundraising events.
The Tower of London is considered to be the foremost
‘must do’ activity in London. Despite its primary role as a
fortress, a Royal Palace, and a prison, particularly for high
status and royal prisoners, such as the Princes in the tower and the future Queen Elizabeth I. It has also served as a place of execution and torture, an armoury, a treasury, a zoo, the Royal Mint, a public records office, an observatory, and since 1303, the home of the Crown Jewels.
Greenwich was also the home of the Olympic Village for the 2012 London Olympic Games. This tour to Greenwich and the 2012 Olympic Park includes a Thames River cruise from the Tower of London to Greenwich, and entrances to the Royal Observatory including the ‘Prime Meridian’ and the the maritime museum.
