Kirthana Chennubhotla Table of Contents What's a Tropical Dry Forest? Examples/Locations of Tropical Dry Forests Plant and Animal Adaptations Biotic Factors Thick, frostless vegetation
Low rainfall
Warm temperatures
Large diversity of plants and animals
Endangered forests Near equator
Mid, tropical and subtropical latitudes.
Brazil, India, Mexico, and parts of Africa. Plants-Shedding leaves (to halt photosynthesis)

Animals-Estivation (hibernation)
Burrowing into mud (reduces metabolism) Reforestation
Infiltration of water

Wettstein, K. "Tropical Dry Forest." N.p., n.d. Web. 30 Apr. 2013. The Tropical Dry Forest biome was chosen and the presentation was designed on Prezi. The presentation includes eight “slides” with pictures and a detailed voice-over regarding each topic. To ensure that the presentation is creative and originative, the use of colors was heavily incorporated. To make sure that the voice-overs are audible, it is advised to avoid looking at the presentation on a Mac computer. The presentation was completed on Prezi because it is creative, technology-based, and easy to use. Because Prezi has the feature of adding voice-overs, it is practical for a presentation that is visually simple but requires detail.
