Born February 23 1868
In Great Barrington, Massachusetts

Given his situation he had a pretty tolerant life growing up
He was the first African-American to graduate from Harvard School of law with a doctorate
Growing up
He then went on to become a professor of history, sociology, and economics at Atlanta University
(National Association for the Advancement of Colored People)
WEB Du Bois co-founded the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People along with Mary White Ovington in 1909
The death of WEB
Du Bois
he died on August 27 1963 at the age of 95

I am inspired by him because even though he was an African-American man living in times of terrible segregation he was able to raise up through society and make a better life for himself and others like him
