Medieval Knights By: Raphael Bofill There were 3 kinds of soldier in the Middle Ages: a knight, a foot soldier, and archers Knights believed in the code of chivalry. They promised to defend to weak, be corteous to all women, loyal to their king, and serve God at all times Lightweight horses such as the palfrey, trutting horse, might carry a knight to a battle but for fighting, many knights change to hevier horses called destries
