Transcript of Energy
What types of energy is there?
kinetic energy is energy that a body possesses by virtue of being in motion. a type example of kinetic energy by grabbing a pencil and moving it.
mechanical energy is in a mechanical form. a example of mechanical energy is people driving in cars.
potential energy is the energy possessed by a body virtue of its position relative to others stresses within itself electric charge and other factors. A example of potential energy is when you see power lines.
heat energy is a form of energy that is a form of energy that is transferred by a difference in the temperature. when you light a candle up you can see the fire.
electrical energy is energy made by the flow of electric charge through a conductor.electrical energy can be used when you turn on lights on.
chemical energy in a substance that can be released by a chemical reaction. chemical energy i s used in a power plant.
light energy in luminous energy is the precessed energy of light this is also called the quantity of light. light can be used when you turn on the light.
wind energy is power is the conversion of wind energy into a useful a useful form of energy such as using wind turbines to make electricity wind mills for mechanical power wind pumps for pumping water of drainage or sails to propels ships.wind energy is used when there is wind mills.
sound is energy flux results from the integral of the acoustic pressure times the particle velocity over a surface and is given by the integral. sound energy is used when you listen to music.
