Child Labor In 1900 hundreds of thousands of children under 16 Many Children Work Many groups brought child labor to their state legislature Child Labor Laws Employers ignored this law which did not imply for agriculture which employed 1 million children Law Ignored By Employers This law stated that NO child under the age of 12 could work Meaning of Child Labor Law is a shop or factory where workers work long hours at low wadges under unhealthy conditions Sweatshops Industries Also Hired Children in factories as a result many states passed child labor laws for more than 10 hours worked By Emma R.
