Invention and Innovations of the Telephone
Transcript of Invention and Innovations of the Telephone
History of the telephone
Innovation of the phone
Do you ever ask yourself, what happened before we had cell phones? Then you think back and remember how it all started. First we had the beepers where we had to pull over and call our friends from a pay phone. Then the first cell phones were created. I remember in the 90's I had to carry around a big fake Louis Vuitton purse so I could fit the phone inside. It was a huge phone with a long black antenna that didn't fold in. Now we have cell phones that keep getting smaller and smaller and smarter and smarter. Our cell phones are so smart we don't even need keypads anymore. We now have smart phones.
Timeline of the Telephone
History of the iphone
On January 9, 2007 the late Steve Jobs put sneaker to Macworld stage to give one of the most incredible keynote presentations of his life — a life filled with incredible keynotes — and in the history of consumer electronics. There, he said he would be introducing a wide-screen iPod with touch controls, a revolutionary mobile phone, and a breakthrough internet device. But it wasn't three products. It was one product. We got it. It was the iPhone.
Citing our work
In the 1870s, two inventors Elisha Gray and Alexander Graham Bell both independently designed
devices that could transmit speech electrically (the telephone). Both men rushed their respective designs to the patent office within hours of each other, Alexander Graham Bell patented his telephone first. Elisha Gray and Alexander Graham Bell entered into a famous legal battle over the invention of the telephone, which Bell won.
Leading the Innovation of Cell Phone Technology
Our phones today
The science behind the discovery is physics and electronics because of the sound waves that pass through the telephone to the electrical wire and to another telephone.
The telephone uses a combination of acoustics and electricity transmitted through wires from one point to another.
Whats the purpose?
How is it used?
The purpose of the telephone is to let people talk
to each other through a device so we don't have to
go to them to be able to talk to them. Now these days
we can text instead of having to talk to each other. We
can look things up on the internet and use our gps to

Pros and Cons
In mathematics, the telephone numbers or involution numbers are a sequence of integers that count the number of connection patterns in a telephone system.
Alexander Graham Bell was the first to invent
the telephone on March 7th in 1876.
Can annoy you
Can get broken
A lot of money
Can be distracting
In the first three years of the telephone being
invented 49,000 people had one.
Now so many teenagers adults and kids have
some kind of phone. There are many different
kinds of phones now that you can even get
them in colors. They also have cases for
Since the invention of the telephone in 1876, the phone has undergo many different designs. It started with the normal telephone and now we have smartphones. The telephone from 1876 was a basic calling device. Then in 1992 Matti Makkonen. Then the first Iphone was made on June 7th 2007. Now we have the Iphone 6 plus, LG 3G, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Ect.

You can use your smart phone to look up things about the environment.
Many different types of phones are made in a day. 1.8 million phones are sold in a day.
Energy and Power-
It takes energy or your phone to turn on that's why we use chargers to give our phones power.
Nanotechnology- Nanotechnology is used when you charge the battery on your phone.
