AOI: Health and Social Education Our experiences change our perspective because if you believe in a
certain way for a long time and one day experience something in a
way that changes the way think about that subject. Lucille Clifton won
many awards so she can keep writing amazing poems. Also her family
helped her fing a subject to write poems about that probably changes
her thoughts on those subjects. Co- composer of hand- clapping songs
resembling the hand clapping scenes of
The Color Purple. In tuned with life and death, religion and politics, motherhood and family. Telling stories of racism, sexism and injustice.
