What Do You Do for Fun?
I currently work at Kohl’s and on my free time I like to hang out with my boyfriend. We do random things like fishing, playing catch, and even drive while singing to the radio!

Why Virtual School?

Nicole Rodriguez:
Why Virtual School?
I wanted to finally live with my dad again. But, he travels so much that any traditional public school nearby would be difficult to attend.
Post-Secondary Plans?
I will be taking the spring off to work full-time. I plan to attend MTSU in the Fall of 2014. I am interested in studying Psychology/English to become a teacher or college professor.
What Do You Do for Fun?
I am pretty much at work all of the time. But, I love to play music and create it. I love to be with my friends and family.

Sarah Brunotts:
1. Why Virtual School? In my junior year of high school, I was ahead in credits. I only needed 2.5 credits to graduate and heard about Virtual School through a friend. I thought it was a great opportunity to work at my own pace and graduate early!
2. Post-Secondary Plans? I am going to use my tnAchieves scholarship to go to school for two years in Nashville, start working as a nurse, and continue to go to school while I’m working towards getting my bachelor’s degree to be a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
3. What Do You Do for Fun? I ice skate and sing at weddings (5 so far).
Laura Hill:
Why Virtual School?
I chose Virtual School because I felt traditional school did not offer me the challenge I wanted. I also wanted to become more self-motivated and responsible.
Post- Secondary Plans?
After graduation, I plan to take some time off and start college next fall. I am interested in cosmetology. As of now, I would like to focus on my job and family.

Colin Merrick:
Why Virtual School? As a musician and a creative thinker, Virtual School provides me with freedom of time to work and make music. Virtual School is also the only Metro Public School that has challenged me.
Post-Secondary Plans? Music production, film, and touring. Probably school for production at some point, as well as entrepreneurship. I plan to open my own record store/art gallery/venue within seven years.
