WHAT'S WRONG WITH
MASOCHISM, the love of being persecuted (which is unhealthy feeling among Filipinos for it's conforming to Christ's teaching.
creates a notion to accept suffering even if it's unjustly inflicted on them (Filipinos) by local or foreign oppressions
Filipinos have become escapist and superficial
Suffering has become a virtue so they find no reason to end it.
this disvalue provides an escape for the Filipino from the troubles they should be facing
they don't trace the roots of their problems and has accepted it as a natural state.
Should be destroyed because:
it would negate all change and progress among Filipinos.
it would rob the Filipino of his dignity as a human being.
"ALL EVIL ARE PUNISHED AND ALL GOOD IS REWARDED."
PERPETUATED THE WORLD AS BEAUTIFUL, AS JUST AND AS DESIRABLE
WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS VALUE?
offers unrealistic resolutions to real-life problems for these things doesn't happen in real life.
it gives false hopes to people and makes them not think of the real problems.

IF AND WHEN THE MASSES HAVE OPENED THEIR EYES TO TEH REALITIES AROUND THEM AND FURTHER HAVE DECIDED TO CHANGE THESE CONDITIONS.

contemporary artists should face these values squarely and grapple with them to see how they may be reshaped and may help in any way in the communication of progressive ideas that would liberate the masses.
