VETERANS DAY PARADE
What Was It?
A parade saluting those who served in the military, recognizing and honoring them for their support to this country and giving our respects for those who died for our freedom and country
WHAT IS KEY CLUB?
Key Club is a student organization that encourages leadership through helping others. There are special events where the students lend a hand, such as walks, cleanups, or charity donations. Key Club is a way to get involved in community service and learning about how to lend a hand.

DIA DE LOS MUERTOS
What Was It?
An event celebrating Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead that had performances by dance groups, food trucks from different countries, and shrines to honor the deceased.
What Did I Do?
Set up tables
Set up and decorated the stage
Decorated tables with flowers and sugar skulls
Directed people to different showings that occurred
What Did We Do?
Handed out brochures to the people
Walked in the parade to celebrate those in the military
What Is It?
An event where we bring toys and gifts and wrap them to give to the Special Olympians, a group of special needs adults, during a Christmas celebration for their accomplishments
What Did We Do?
Sorting toys in the categories of boys, girls, and both
Wrapping the toys and gifts
What Is It?
An opportunity to help clean beaches, such as Seal Beach and Alamitos Bay, to make a cleaner and safer environment for people who visit and for creatures who live in these environments
What Did I Do?
Picked up and threw away the trash on the beaches
