Transcript of Thermosphere

Thermosphere Additional Facts The uppermost atmospheric layer is thermosphere. Thermosphere has few particles that move fast. The temperature is high due to the speed in the particles. The thermosphere does not transfer much energy. Solar activity strongly influences the temperatures. Thermosphere is the hottest layer. The air density is way less than the other 5 layers because it is the highest. Thermosphere is also the closest layer to space. "Thermo" means relating to heat. That means that Thermosphere got that name because it’s the hottest layer of the atmosphere. By: Vianna Bassani
