The 26th president
Early life and where
he was born
President Theodore Roosevelt was born
October 27, 1858 in New York, NY. As a
child he spent most of his time outside even though he had asthma, because he had that sickness often got sick.

Young adult years, College,
and Party Affiliation
He attended Harvard University and his religion is Dutch Reformed. Also in his university he was an author and professor. After wards he joined the military and ranked as a Colonel. He married a woman named Alice Hathaway Lee and he was a republican.
Adult years and
presidential life
After his teenage years he was elected president in the year 1901 and was the youngest at the age of 42. As president he successfully finished building the Panama Canal. He also created 5 national parks, 18 national monuments, and 51 wild animal refuges. President Roosevelt won the Nobel Peace Prize for helping end the war between Russia and Japan. He stopped serving as president in 1909 and died January 6, 1919 at the age of 60.
He married a woman named Alice Hathaway Lee, but sadly she passed away on February 14, 1884 the same date Theodore's mother passed too. He remarried 2 years after to a woman named Edith Kermit Carow (the year 1886)
