idiom- she's not really dragging a horse around, she just can't get something that happened out of her head Cliche Definition- over used statement

I'm so lucky to say that you are mine
cliche- this is an overused statement that girls tend to say Repetition: The Real Slim Shady, Skinny Love The Real Slim Shady:
May i have your attention please?
May i have your attention please?
Will the real slim shady please stand up?
I repeat, will the real slim please stand up
We're gonna have a problem here

Skinny Love:
And i told you to be patient
And i told you to be fine

Analogy Definition-comparison by relationships

Analogy- giving the relationship between two people Onomatopoeia: Heart Attack Definition- using a word that sounds like what it means

hyperbole: ow is a noise describing how they feel hurt

Figurative Language Definition- repeating a beginning sound NOT a letter

Alliteration- repetition of the same sound as "rah" Hyperbole Definition- over exaggerated saying

Shark In The Water

hyperbole: over exaggerating the object under her bed. Alliteration Personification Definition- Giving human characteristics to a non-living thing

personification: Shakira's hips can't lie

Its Time:
After all... the city never sleeps tonight
personification- cities can't sleep Repetition- the repeating of a word
