Where is the Ukraine?
The Ukrainian flag.
The golden fields.
The people of the Ukraine are very friendly. Families of the Ukraine usually only have up to 2 to 3 children at the most.
The blue represents the sky.
The gold represents the golden fields.
Men usually retire from their jobs at 60, and women at 55.
Ukrainians wear pretty much the same clothes that we wear, but they also wear very detailed dresses to special occasions.
Ukraine borders 7 different countries, and 2 bodies of waters. It borders.....

The Ukrainian Trident
People of the Ukraine usually have white skin and dirty blonde, or brown hair hair.
On windy days they also wear a head piece to cover their head.
They have lots of fields.
Ukrainian food tastes a little different than our food. Some of the most popular foods are....
Kids pretty much do the same things we do on our free time. Some of the things they do are....
Ukrainians also love their art. A famous art they like to do during easter is painting eggs. They usually make them with lots of detail.
Sights and attractions
Ukraine has many sights and attractions. Popular sights are the capital city, (Kiev), and an old church named St. Sophia's church that was built in 988 A.D
People also visit the Ukraine to climb or see the great mountains.
History and Government.
In the late 18th century, most of the modern day Ukraine was part of the Russian empire. It was taken over by the Russians. They fought over Ukraine for sometime but on August 21 1991 the Soviet Union fell apart and Ukraine became their own country again. In January 2009 the Ukrainian government was involved in a dispute with Russia concerning natural gas prices, and for two weeks there was no gas flowing from Russia to Ukraine. The Ukrainian economy was also beset with problems related in part to the global economic down turn of 2008-09.
It is important in the Ukraine that children receive a good education. They are required to start school at 6 or 7 and have to stay in school till they are 15. After high school, they may choose if they want to go to University or just get a job. Most schools in Ukraine are free except for private schools which charge a fee.

The Ukrainian trident is the exact same colours as the flag. It represents the same thing.
Ukrainian dancing is also very popular in the Ukraine. Children and adults can do it at any age and can compete as well.
I used to do Ukrainian dancing with all of my sisters to.
Ukrainian dancing usually needs a few people to do. You would wear a special dresses, shoes and make your hair all nice. They normally all dress the same.

I think that Ukraine is blessed by God for there beautiful mountains and fields, and they should be trying to help feed other countries.
I think Ukraine is in the middle of a 1st and 2nd world country.
