- used to graph with frequency table (numeric data)
- consist of series of bars with common width and heights proportional to frequency
- Bar graph used in data with categorical or discrete numeric independent variable
- Histogram used in data with continuous numeric independent variable

What is graph?
- Graphical representation of data
- Provides at-a-glance view of data
- Category can be description or numbers. This is called 'categorical variable' or 'numeric variable', respectively.
- Numeric variable can be continuous
or discrete and you can choose either kind depending on the needs of your analysis.
How to construct a Frequency Table from a given set of data?
Step 1 Examine the data and determine the category
Step 2 Go through the data and count the frequency of each category.
Step 3 Record the numbers in the table. DONE!

= Categorical Variable
= Independent Variable
= Continuous Numeric Variable
Notice the bars are connected (there is no gap between the bars), representing the fact the independent variable is continuous numeric values.
(b) Cumulative Frequency
This can be constructed from frequency table by adding all previous frequency numbers.
(c) Relative Frequency
This table shows the frequency of a data group as a fraction or percent of the whole data set.
