It started in the 19nth century when new technology started to develop and the introduction to the new camera revolutionized news.
Well known photojournalist like, Margaret Bourke were very influential.


The first modern camera was built in 1925 in Germany ( It was called the Leicia and it was a 35mm camera. )

Robert Capa was well known for catching war pictures & was actually killed on an assignment in Indochina.

The golden age of photojournalism was between the 30s to the 50s when the camera was starting to get more advanced. They were put in a lot of Life Sports Illustrated and Daily Mirror.
