packing slip.

are correct according to
purchase order
3. verify label placement
4. identify omissions or
error with order.
Step two priotizing cataloged materials
1. Rush and/or faculty request
order titles
2. Reference reserve titles
3. New periodicals (journals,
magazines)
4. Add on shelf titles
5. Titles with specific locations
(reserve reading room)
6. Gifts and clean-up cataloging
titles

Step three shelving
1. Check the spine label on
the book
2. Read the labels on the book
shelf ends
3. Locate the correct section
by comparing the numbers by the
hundreds column.
4. Match all the letters of the
author's last name withing the
numerical section
5. Shelve jolurnals or newspapers
by arranging in order of date. Step four checkout
1. Use clear navigation
