Stick to vocabulary, sentence structures and grammatical points that you know. Don't try to use unfamiliar language to you.
Speak slowly and distinctly. It's better to speak clearly to be understood rather than to race trough your response so that you will be able to say more.

An Overall look when writing and essay before start
Try not to answer the question given yet, answer it after you already mention the advantages and disadvantages of the topic mentioned. Remember that’s like a movie. Everyone wants to see the trailer to decide if you go and see the movie or not (introduction) if you decide to see it, you’ll definitely don’t want to go with someone that tells you the end of the story in the middle of the plot (then there wouldn’t be a propose to watch it) you will see the outcome of the movie just at the end of it (conclusion).
