The Joseph Model The Checklist OLDER ELEMENTARY
(AGES 8-11: THIRD THROUGH SIXTH GRADES Displayed integrity in his work ethic

Stayed pure until marriage

Repeatedly said no to the temptation of sin

Had faith in God through years of trouble

Responded to every situation with wisdom

Became a capable, respected leader

Harbored no animosity to those who harmed him

Cared for his father in his old age. The most difficult of circumstances that he did not bring on himself, Joseph: Master Life Thread: Grace (Genesis 41:51-52)

And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father's house.

God's grace that draws your child to Christ can also sustain your child through daily life. ...is what attracts us to Him and what confirms is love for us over and over. ...power to transform hardness into kindness. ...forms the best template for bringing the best out of our children. ...expands beyond salvation. ...is what helps us feel comfort in God's love. ...is what enables us to make good life choices. ...is the essence of peace and security. ...is what causes us to respond to others with kindness. Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly , righteously, and godly, in this present world; They like to go places and do things. They want proof. They're hero-worshippers. They desire justice. They enjoy planning and building. They enjoy reading. They understand that adults are fallible. They enjoy classifying information to reach a conclusion. They're more aware of those around them. They enjoy friendships. How do we know the Bible is true? Why did the Lord Jesus do amazing things like miracles? Why did Adam and Eve's sin mess stuff up for everyone? How can God be three persons in one? Why are there so many different kinds of Bibles? Time for a checkup.

For all four years.
