Transcript of The force of friction

What is friction?
Friction is a force that slows any objects that move along it. Friction isn't a thing that you can see. Friction must be on a surface but for every surface there is a certain amount of friction. E.G carpet is a rough surface so it has alot of friction but a table is a smooth surface and has a little amount of friction.
our fair test
RESULTS
surfaces
For our experiment we used these surfaces carpet, synthetic turf and concrete. The synthetic turf had the most friction because it was very rough and the car wasn't even able to get past 70cm as the others got over 100cm and concrete had the least amount of friction by far as we got over 200cm.
