Transcript of What type of plastic wrap prevents evaporation the best

Evaporation is when a liquid turns to gas with the use of heat. For example When you boil water, on the stove, you can tell that after a while there will be less water after boiling it . The reason that happens is because some of the water evaporated. It also mean Evaporation occurs when a liquid changes i state form a gas or vapor. So in other word, when the water is boiling the stage from water turn into gas.
Introduction
Background Information
The Major Discoveries
What I knew before
I knew that water turns into vapor when the weather get really hot, for example if you’ll leave water in a cup, in a really hot weather for example in the summer and you’ll come back in a week. The water will not be there. The reason why the water won’t be there is because the water will turn into gas. It just like the ocean or the river, that the water get evaporate.

what is plastic?. Plastic is a synthetic material made from a wide range of organic polymers such as polyethylene. Plastic can be molded into shape while soft and then set into a rigid or slightly elastic form, for example the black plastic or the garbage bag is, what you call "Plastic". and anytime of material that is soft and it stretchy. Last there are two type of plastic. There plastic wraps and there are bottle plastic

In this lab, I have discover couple of things. I have discover that believe it or not water evaporates, and it rises up into the atmosphere above, eventually condensing into clouds. In other word the water evaporates and go up to the clouds and instead of the gas, it turn into liquid. Furthermore These clouds continue to absorb moisture until they become too heavy. So until the liquid is not heavy, it'll not drop from the clouds, or rain you can say.
The Question/Problem of the Experiment
Does the process for water evaporating
in a cup with water while covering with plastic? Take long or faster?
Importance of this topic,To real life.
The reason this topic, is important is because if you do this experiment, you can see from your own point of view, how the water evaporates and if you go to an ocean or river, you wont tell if the water is evaporating or not because more water going to there and wont be measurable

If i take 5 see through cups and close them with different plastic then one of those type of plastic going to prevent evaporation the best because the plastic will give enough heat or no oxygen for it’ll evaporated. I anticipate, that the plastic’s are also going to be weak, at the end of the experiment because it to be a week or more of a experiment and it going to be in warm classroom . Also the water will most likely to change color because it won’t have oxygen in the classroom, or over the days and it will change from one state to another.

Procedure
*First step gather all your materials together.
*Second step take 5 see through cup and label them, with
numbers and the type of plastic.
*Third step put half of the cup with water
*Fourth step leave one see through cup open with out, no plastic
and the others, seal them with the plastic with tape
*Fifth step put it in a place where it won't fall or damage the experiment
and qualities have to be the same, with every cup.

The purpose for this experiment
was to see how fast can water
evaporate from a cup with plastic
covering it.

Graphs
Qualitative Data
Analysis
In my experiment some Trends I had in my graphs was, I need it to put the cups in a safe place because if I didn't, someone could knock the cups down for accident and My experiment would of been ruined and that means i would of need it too start my experiment all over again.
Discussion
In my experiment, I was surprise by the data I collected because in my control group I had Less water than my experiment group and the reason I find that surprising was because my experiment group had plastic covering the cup with water and my control group didn't and I
anticipated that while the cups was covering with plastic. The plastic will had heat and it evaporate
Conclusion
In conclusion Most of the Plastic have materials that helps into prevention to evaporate the water. For example in my experiment one of the cups. Also My hypothesis was incorrect. I thought that the cups with plastic was going to evaporate the most and I notice it didn't.
Revisions To procedure
In this experiment, If I would of conduct the experiment again, I would of get more cups in my experiment. About get about 10 cups with different type of plastic.
Also I would of make this experiment better by lasting m0re days. In this experiment I last around 10 days. It'll last for 3 week probably.
Question For Further Research
Question I ask or do research is
What if I don't put water, I put another liquids?
Does temperature affects the experiment.
What if i put in a cold temperature room?
