Polar Bears Habitat: Polar Bears live near the Arctic Circle. However, global warming is destroying their habitat. This is an example Size: Adult males weigh about 770-1500 lbs and grow up to 8 to 10 feet in length. Females weigh 330-550 lbs and grow up to 6 to 9 feet. Diet: The polar bear diet consists of seals, walruses, bird eggs, and bird chicks. The grown ups usually eat the fatty blubber on the seals while the kids eat the rich red meat. Body: Most people think of a polar bear as white, but that's just the fur. Their skin is actually black.
Polar bears have a nice muscular body and fat so they can swim very well.
