The first supercar was made in 1907 and was the Renault Al 35/45 Vanderbilt Racer.
Today the fastest supercar is the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport that goes a staggering 268 mph.
Some supercar companies include Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce, Bugatti, Mercedes, and more.

Supercar are made to be light, fast, quick, and powerful.
The lightest supercar is the 2007 Caparo T1 weighing only 1036 pounds.
The quickest car is also the Bugatti Veyron that goes from 0-60 in 2.41 seconds.
The most powerful supercar is the SSC Ultimate Aero TT that is packed with 1183 bhp.
Although supercars are nice, fast, and luxurious, supercars are really expensive.

The most expensive supercar is the Ferrari 250 GTO costing $28,500,000.
How much a supercar costs is based on either speed,lightness, power, and luxury or by how many were made.
Supercars are made from good materials based on the cost of the car from the engine, to paint and the interior. Also, what the shell of the car is made of itself.

The engine can be a V8, V10, V12. The higher the number, the better. It can also be layered with really expensive gold to keep the engine from heating too much.
Supercars outer body might be made of carbon fiber. Carbon fiber is light and tough so the car can accelerate quickly and handle the high speeds.
The supercars interior can be very luxurious or not so much. Some supercars are equipped with many gadgets such as a screen, nice seats, a/c, and more. Some supercars don't even have a/c only because there main purpose is to be light and go fast.
A supercar's paint is based on the car. Some supercar paint are one of the best paints you can find and many layers are added on the car. Other cars paint might be the usual paint you find on a regular car.
Supercars require delicate treatment measures when necessary such as a car wash. Unfortuneatly, regular car washes can damage the delicate
Supercars need some treatment sometimes such as a car wash. Of course you can go to a regular car wash. But if you really want your car to look as good as new, then there's a car wash for a million dollars.
The car wash consists of a careful washing, polishing with the finest waxes in the world, and more.
Supercars are expensive to run. To keep their high speeds most supercars do not have good gas mileage.
The lowest
The supercar with the lowest gas mileage is the Lamborghini Murcielago with 8 mpg in the city and 13 mpg on the highway.
The Porsche 918 Spyder has the best gas mileage which is 78 mpg.
