Shaima Aljaafari 209019814 Mobile cloud computing is the combination of cloud computing and mobile networks to bring benefits for mobile users, network operators, as well as cloud providers.
Cloud computing exists when tasks and data are kept on the Internet rather than on individual devices, providing on-demand access. Applications are run on a remote server and then sent to the user. Introduction Mobile cloud computing has been attracting the attentions of entrepreneurs as a profitable business option that reduces the development and running cost of mobile applications as a new technology to achieve rich experience of a variety of mobile services at low cost, and of researchers as a promising solution for green IT.
Due to increasing smartphone penetration, and growth of 3G network and deployment of LTE (4G) services help to increase the development and use of MCC .
Technology enhancements such as HTML5 is further encourage the development of cloud based mobile applications.
Mobile cloud appliacetion can run on many mobile device platforms that have standards-compliant Web browsers and are much less expensive to build.
Mobile devices that are 4G LTE compatible, which support bandwidth intensive apps and reduce latency issues, are helping to open markets for mobile cloud apps. Mobile Cloud Computing and new Technologies: * Issues with mobile cloud security, privacy, feasibility and accessibility remain a major concern for both the customers and the enterprises.
- However with complex and secure products now available on the market, many enterprises are jumping into the mobile cloud bandwagon. Home Automation using Mobile Cloud Computing: With the availability of products which integrate mobile devices and cloud networking rapidly increasing, many users can see how new technology can impact their everyday lives.
Now user can easily through a mobile phone manage home systems such as lights, air condition, alarm system, fire/flood/gas/CO alert etc. using Mobile cloud-based Home Automation. Home automation with Mobile Cloud Computing can be useful to those who need to Access home appliances while away from their home and can incredibly provides increased comfort, safety, savings and is easy to use. Also, It can improve the lives of the disabled. Conclusion:
With the new opportunities, cloud computing has brought new challenges for the mobile environment.
There are multiple ways of solving these obstacles to use cloud computing from the mobile devices.
From this perspective, Mobile Cloud Computing has a very big potential to jump in the mobile business and to become one of the mobile technology trends in the future, as it combines the advantages of both mobile computing and cloud computing.
