Full Professor at Institute of Mathematics, UNAM, he directed over 15 theses and taught both in the Institute and in the Faculty of Sciences. He died in 2004 at age 71 http://wsfcs.k12.nc.us/site/default.aspx?PageType=3&ModuleInstanceID=94324&ViewID=7b97f7ed-8e5e-4120-848f-a8b4987d588f&RenderLoc=0&FlexDataID=84720&PageID=54083 current mexican flag http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Mexico reference page in the processs on the making of my project on Victor Neumann Lara, i learned what a reflection was. I also learned that there could be a mathematician just about everywhere. Even though it was kind of difficult to find information about Victor Neumann Lara, I think that just because he worked at the same place as he studied was very interesting. it would be interesting because you would be able to see the change of the school, the students and cultural change also. I think this mathematician was very lucky to live through that and i hope maybe one day i am as succesful as him.
