The Division of Human Resources understands that continual learning is a vital part of your employment here at Kent State. HR Training and Development has assembled a variety of learning experiences that will contribute to your personal and professional development.
Information technology touches all of our lives in a variety of ways. Kent State University’s Division of Information Services (IS) provides the tools that make it possible to connect to the Internet, check and post grades, retrieve office voicemail and attend a virtual classroom presentation. Whether you step on a Kent State campus -- or use a remote or online service or device -- Information Services is working for you.

The Division of Research and Sponsored Programs oversees the offices of: Sponsored Programs, Research Safety and Compliance, and Corporate Engagement and Commercialization.
Kent State Distance Learning is a great way to finish a degree or start a new one. Distance learning offers you a convenient way to take coursework with much more flexibility to serve your needs.
The Office of Faculty Affairs in the Office of the Provost is responsible for the implementation and oversight of all policies and procedures which have an impact on the lives of faculty members at Kent State University from appointment to retirement. The Office of Faculty Affairs is the central source of information on faculty-related personnel actions, collective bargaining agreements, forms, reports and other materials that are needed to carry out the essential functions of the Division of Academic Affairs which concern our Faculty.
The Office of Global Education plans, coordinates, sustains, and monitors the University's global initiatives, exchange programs, and support services for international students and scholars. Our goal is to systematically contribute to Kent State University's efforts to prepare our students with the knowledge, skills, and perspectives required of effective citizens in a global society.
On behalf of Graduate Studies at Kent State University, I extend a warm welcome to prospective students as well as those who are new and continuing. We invite you to explore our website. It will provide a great deal of information on graduate programs, policies, financial support, and professional development opportunities.
In the Fall of 2000 Kent State University was accepted into the Academic Quality Improvement Project (AQIP). This alternative accreditation process is more intense and efficient, uses faster cycles of improvement, involves faculty more directly in all academic improvement processes, maintains an institution's status with the Department of Education, and emphasizes an institution's distinctive needs and aspirations.
Welcome! We are glad that you have chosen to become a Golden Flash! The Office of Student Success Programs is here to partner with you and Golden Flash Family members to make the first year extraordinary. Kent State University offers academic and co-curricular experiences that will amaze and excite you. Our office will serve as the connection to those experiences to help you transition and persist to graduation. We look forward to working with you and your family to make the first year all that you desire it to be. Congratulations on joining the Golden Flash Family!
Kent State University’s Women Center exists to facilitate the advancement of and to enhance the quality of educational experience and professional life for women students, faculty and staff of all campuses. The Women’s Center serves as a resource for advocacy by providing education, information and referral program and services.
The Center is dedicated to promoting dialogue
and interaction with all campus constituencies concerned with the pursuit of equity and equality. The Women's Center also provides collaborative outreach and support services to women in Kent’s larger educational and geographical communities.
National Center for
Faculty Development
and Diversity
The National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity is an independent professional development, training, and mentoring community of over 28,000 graduate students, post-docs and faculty members.
