Kinds of Kinetic Energy
Radiant energy, thermal energy, motion, sound, electrical energy
Chemical energy is the energy stored in the bonds of atoms and molecules. Biomass natural gas, LPG, gasoline, coal, and food are examples of substances with chemical energy

Chemical Energy
Nuclear energy is the energy stored in the nucleus of atoms. It is the energy that holds atoms together. When uranium splits, a large amount of energy is released.

Nuclear Energy
Elastic energy is the energy stored when objects are pulled, stretched, or compressed just like in a spring or rubber band.

Elastic Energy
Gravitational energy is the energy based on the position of objects. Higher objects fall harder to the ground.

Gravitational Energy
Energy is the capacity to do work. Energy is needed so that a force applied can cause motion.
Radiant energy is the electromagnetic energy that travels in waves. This includes visible light, x-ray, gamma rays, and radio waves.

Objects that moving posses energy and can do work when it hits another object
Motion Energy
Sound is the energy that comes from objects are vibrating. Sounds can be picked up by the eardrums and understood by the brain.
Sound comes form living and non-living things.
Sound Energy
Electrical energy is the energy from electrons tat flow through conductors. Electricity comes from nature and from man-made sources.

Electrical Energy
Thermal energy is the internal energy in substances; it is the vibration and movement of atoms and molecules in a substance.
The sun, the earth, living things, and friction are some of the sources of thermal energy
