This is Climate Change This... Is real stuff Virtually every scientist has agreed that the Earth has warmed a small amount since the year 1000 Global Warming!! !!gnimraw labolG And I'm sure you all know what that is... And for those of you who don't... Here it is Global Warming - The increase in the average temperature in the earth's near-surface air and oceans Climate Change - Climate includes patterns of temperature, precipitation, humidity, wind and seasons. "Climate change" affects more than just a change in the weather It refers to seasonal changes over a long period of time. These climate patterns play a fundamental role in shaping natural ecosystems http://video.answers.com/Q/the_effects_of_climate_change_93889793 By:Clay Graber and Micheal Turner Some effects of the ruthless causes are.. Volcanic Eruptions!! AND!! Mountain changes ALSO!! Water Expands when it is heated so when the temperature rises so does the oceans, seas, and lakes the sea levels have seen a rise of 6.7 inches in the last century, and if the alarming rate of global warming continues, the sea water levels may rise up to 22 inches by 2100 This will mean that island like Maldives and Tuvalu and low lying areas like Bangladesh will go underwater, and important cities like Mumbai, Shanghai and Florida will become vulnerable to the water grave Things That we can do to stop this.. Think climate change is too big of a problem to solve? Think again. Small changes in our everyday lives can make a big difference TIP: Travel light Walk or bike instead of driving a car. Cars and trucks run on fossil fuels, which release carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. FUN FACT!! Walk or bike and you?ll save one pound of carbon for every mile you travel. FUN FACT!!! Airplanes pump carbon emissions high into the atmosphere, producing 12 percent of transportation sector emissions FUN FACT!!! You will save 100 pounds of carbon for each incandescent bulb that you replace with a compact fluorescent FUNFACT!!! If you own a car, it will get better gas mileage when the tires are fully inflated, so it will burn less gas and emit less carbon. THIS ALL LEADS UP TO SAVING THE EARTH!!! Thanks for watching/listening/acknowledging everything that we presented (you may applaud now) WHICH LEADS TO
