Maloney Properties, Inc. is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant with experience in overall office operations to work at our Central Office in Wellesley, MA. The successful candidate will be an energetic, team player who looks forward to becoming a member of a dynamic administrative team. Responsibilities include preparing reports and correspondence, greeting visitors, answering and directing calls, and overseeing the front desk duties, receiving distributing and sorting mail, maintaining inventory, ordering and stocking of office supplies, assisting with special projects, coordinating all pick-up and deliveries of same-day and overnight packages, run errands as needed, and provide support as needed to other members of the Central Office Administration Team.

Qualified candidates will have at least 2-4 years of experience in office operations.
Skill set includes strong customer service, organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills. Excellent written and oral communications skills are a must. Previous marketing experience (i.e. creating brochures, flyers and other marketing materials) is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook are required. Experience with Publisher a plus.

I am writing to apply for the Administrative Assistant position at Maloney Properties posted on Fisher College's career website, the Fish*net. I was inspired to apply for the position, because I am eager to contribute to creating better living standards for people at all income levels. Through my academic training at Fisher College, and my experiences in the fields of student development and public relations, I have developed the marketing, customer service, and writing skills necessary to excel in the Administrative Assistant position. As an Office Assistant in the Office of Career Services at Fisher College I created all marketing materials, managed the social media accounts, and drafted the copy for email correspondence to students at the school. After I took over the social media accounts we increased the Office's connectivity 10% and saw a return on the number of students who attended events.

My combination of experience and education have provided me with the skills to perform as an Administrative Assistant for Maloney Properties.
