Founded in 1981; grew from 10-350 employees 200- 8,600 units; women owned Dear Mr. Smith:
I am writing to apply for the Administrative Assistant position at Maloney Properties posted on Fisher College's career website, the Fish*net. I was inspired to apply for the position, because I am eager to contribute to creating better living standards for people at all income levels. Through my academic training at Fisher College, and my experiences in the fields of student development and public relations, I have developed the marketing, customer service, and writing skills necessary to excel in the Administrative Assistant position. As an Office Assistant in the Office of Career Services at Fisher College I created all marketing materials, managed the social media accounts, and drafted the copy for email correspondence to students at the school. After I took over the social media accounts we increased the Office's connectivity 10% and saw a return on the number of students who attended events.
Additionally, in my part-time job at Guess I have been continuously recognized for my excellent customer service skills. I have been able to create a clientele book and as a result have consistently exceeded my monthly sales goals. My combination of experience and education have provided me with the skills to perform as an Administrative Assistant for Maloney Properties. I am excited at the opportunity to work for a women-owned company where I may contribute my talents, but also benefit from excellent role models. I am eager to discuss this opportunity further with you and may be reached at 617.555.5555 or email@example.com. Thank you for your time and consideration.
