Excellent work!
Now, go back to the blog and view the Premiere tutorial.
Step 1
Locate your footage on the Student Share (TV Pickup Box -> Media I -> Ads -> YOUR FOLDER)
Copy the ENTIRE FOLDER (Ctrl-C or right-click and Copy)
Navigate to the Thawspace of the computer. You can use either Thawspace K or Thawspace V.
Paste the folder into the Thawspace.
Your project will now exist ONLY on this machine.
Open Premiere Pro
The icon is on the Desktop, and it looks like this:

If you don't see it right away, try the folder for the Adobe Create Suite (Adobe CS5.5).
Set up the project in the right place
THIS PART IS VERY IMPORTANT.

Select "New Project"
In the next window, click the "Browse" button
Navigate to your folder on the Thawspace
Select your folder on the Thawspace
Type a name for your project that anyone could identify (Science Advertisement, for example)
Click "OK"
Select the correct settings
THIS IS ALSO VERY IMPORTANT!

You will be given several options for sequence settings in the next window.
Navigate to the folder named ADVHC
Choose "AVCHD 720p30"
You may leave the Sequence name as Sequence 01
Click "OK"
Uh, oh!
If you do not see the AVCHD 720p30 setting, Premiere needs to be "re-set." If you feel comfortable doing this...

Click "OK" without changing the sequence setting.
When the program opens, choose the "Help" menu.
Select "Deactivate" from the drop-menu.
In the dialog box that appears, select "Suspend Activation."
Close the program completely, and re-start Step 2. This should solve your issue.
Step 2
If you don't set up your project correctly, you will be VERY, VERY SAD.
