Les verbes en "ER"
LES VERBES
*A verb is an action word.
In French, when you look a verb up in the dictionary, it will be written in its infinitive form.

Here are some examples:
think = penser work = travailler talk = parler
look = regarder like = aimer walk = marcher
What do they all these examples have in common?
"ER"
"ER" verbs are the most common verbs in French. They are the verbs that end in "ER".

Once you know how to write one, you know how to write most of them. Lucky you!

To write an "ER" verb in the present tense, you break it down into these steps.
LOOK AT
YOUR SUBJECT!
Ask who is doing the action.
TRANSLATE YOUR VERB!
TALK
TAKE OFF THE "ER"

FIND THE CORRECT ENDING FOR THE SUBJECT
Let's do one together: "I talk"
NOW YOU PUT IT
ALL TOGETHER!
