Where and When Were They Born?
She was born June 27, 1949
The location of her birth is Summit, New Jersey
Childhood
Her mother was a commercial artist and her father was was pharmaceutical company executive
She started taking opera lessons with a professional at the age of 12
She got her first applause at age 12, when she sang "O' Holy Night" in French
She was so good, she shocked everyone
Why did you choose person?
I chose Meryl because I've always loved her and her movies. Shes a great person and an amazing rolemodel. I actually never knew before rising to fame, she had failed. This intrigued me and I wanted to find out more.
Failures
She was rejected for a film role because she was "too ugly" when she was 32.
Her Signifigance
She is a great rolemodel for girls around the world. She persevered through her failure and showed us to never give up.
Her talents bring us joy that we will never forget.
