By now, you are probably wondering what you can do to help!
Water for South Sudan
More than 1.5 million children under the age of five die each year because they lack access to safe water and proper sanitation

In some places in South Sudan, the animals use the water as their bathroom. This water is not safe to drink.

Why should they?
Every year over 3.4 million people die from waterborne illness.

Lack of clean water kills about 1 child every 4 hours.

Dirty water kills more peoples lives than war.

War terrorized their country. The people are thirsty for hope.
(Barton,2014)
They help fund well projects and other things that get clean,safe,and drinkable water for people in remote areas of South Sudan.
This is how some South Sudanese people get their water!
Every day, some women and girls trek over 30 miles and carry 40 pound water jugs. (waterforsouthsudan.org, 2014)
