So far we are sustaining ourselves with the following methods... publications We see publications as an imporatant way of spreading information. That is why we publish books, and are part of the Mašta magazine network. Kulturlabor Trial & Error is a Berlin based, non profit organization, working with crafts, D.I.Y. culture, sustainability, arts and media.
Our main aims are to promote Do-It-Yourself culture, active citizenship and sustainability. We aim to share knowledge between different networks and individuals, and provide information that encourages an active approach to life. We work through hands on practice and non formal education. Trial & Error was founded in spring 2010. We are a collective of designers and craftivists, thinkers and doers, artists and project managers - who implement social and cultural projects. At the moment there are around 60 people regularly beeing active - joining and implementing activites, and a core team of seven devoted people. We feel strongly about discovering and prototyping creative, social, open and sustainable ways of living. We love to experiment, and find new ways of how to make things happen. And we make it happen in many different ways... We make actions in public space
to interact with everybody. We implement projects, such as series of workshops,
enviromental education in schools and a local festival. We cooperate on an international and local level with other organisations. Internationally we send participants to creative projects, and implement our own projects as well as host volunteers. Locally we work togheter with other networks, making workshops, and implementing local projects, as well as sharing tools, ideas and knowledge with other space and iniatives. www.trial-error.org CreAction - exchange about social change
