What is theory?
Theory of multiple intelligences
This theory states there are
ways (intelligences) that people understand and see the world.
1) Linguistics
The ability to use languages effectively
2) Logical-mathematical
The ability to think logically and to reason (inductive reasoning and deductive reasoning)
3) Visual-spatial
The ability to mentally visualize objects and spatial dimensions.
4) Body kinesthetic
The wisdom of the body and the ability to control physical motion.
5) Musical-Rhythmic
The ability to master music as well as rhythms, tones and beats.
6) Interpersonal
The ability to communicate effectively with other people and to be able to develop relationship.
7) Intrapersonal

The ability to understand one's own emotions, motivations, inner states of being and self-reflection.
Common teaching practices
1) Building readiness

3) Holding culminating activities
Learners have well-developed verbal skills and sensitive to the sounds, meaning and rhythms of words.
The learners have good auditory, writing and often think in words. They like creating poems, reading and writing essays. They learn best when taught using spoken or written materials.
The learners enjoy school activities such as art, drafting, geometry, computer graphics and computer assisted design. They often have excellent visual memory for details in print and in the environment.
How learners learn best :
They learn best when taught using written, modeled or diagrammed instruction and visual media.
They have a great control of their physical movement. They have the ability to balance their body and handle tools skillfully.
How learners learn best :
By athletics, dance, hand-on science,drawing, modeling and sculpting which consists a lot of movements and energy.
Interpersonal learners enjoy heading up commitees, group learning project and communicating with other students and adults. They love to interact and prefer learning through interpersonal communication and interaction.
How learners learn best:
Learners best learn through direct involvement with others group projects in school or within the larger community. For example, a project of charity.
Learners have big passion in music and can appreciate many different types of music and sounds. They may often be found humming or drumming out beats with their hands.
How learners learn best:
They learns best when taught using spoken instruction and auditory media because they have good auditory memory and may response to jingles
and rhymes.
Learners prefer logical order in instruction and often work best in structured, organized environments. They enjoy bringing mathematical and conceptual ideas into reality.
How learners learn best:
Learners learn best when taught using visual materials, computers, statistical and analytical programs. They prefer structured, goal-oriented activities that are based on math reasoning.
Learners have awareness of their own strength and weakness, plans and goals. They learn best independently.
How learners learn best:
Learners learn best individually instead of group work such as study group. They prefer to work on problems by retreating to somewhere quiet and working through possible solutions.
How learners learn best:
8) Naturalistic
The ability to recognize pattern and relationships to nature.
Learners love to observe, understand and recognize patterns in the natural environment. They will have a huge passion in classification of plants and animals.
How learners learn best:
Learners will learn best through activities which require them to be more closer to nature. They would prefer outdoor activities more instead of indoor activities.
