Relaxation Techniques Relaxation is used to reduce stress and lower blood preasure and help muscles from tensing and it also slows the heart rate. One of the many different ways of relaxing is diaphragmatic breathing. Diaphragmetic breathing is basicaly normal breathing but insted of breathing from your chest you breath from the diaphram. Some of the benfits of doing diaphragmatic breating is it reduces stress, heps stuttering. It is also HEALTHIER than breathing normaly. Zen yoga is a form of yoga which is also a way of meditating and relaxing along with the chinese martial art ,Qigong. Zen yoga uses many stretches that increase flexibility and improve stiff muscles.It also improves lungs and breathing.It's very gentle too and you can be any age to do it. Qigong is a chinese art that helps the body and is a martial art making you stronger and helps build confindence which helps you relax more.It's also used to heal people an ancient way of healing using chi,the human lifeforce.
