An Animal Cell is like a Castle
An Animal Cell is like a Castle
An animal cell is like a castle, because a castle has many functions to keep things working as does an animal cell.
The Nucleus is like a King
The nucleus is the command of the cell like a king is of a castle so the king is like the nucleus.
The cell membrane separates the outer cell from the inner cell just as a moat does in a castle.
The Cell Membrane is like a Moat
The Cytoskeleton is like Bricks and Mortar
Bricks and mortar bind the castle together and gives it it's shape and strength like the cytoskeleton.
The Mitochondria is like the furnace because the furnace of the castle produces energy like the Mitochondria.
The Mitochondria is like a Furnace
The vacuole stores the food, water, and waste of the cell as does the pantry does in a castle.
The Vacuole is like a Pantry
A Ribosome is like a Kitchen
A Ribosome is like a kitchen because the kitchen creates the protein/food for the castle like a Ribosome does for a cell.
The Endoplasmic Reticulum is like the halls and passageways of a castle because it carries materials around the castle as does the Endoplasmic Reticulum.
The Endoplasmic Reticulum is like Passageways and Halls
The Lysosome is like the maids of the castle because they clean and get rid of waste like a Lysosome.
The Lysosome is like the Maids
The Golgi Body is like a butler because a butler distributes/packages meals and supplies to different parts of the castle like the Golgi Body does.
A Golgi Body is like a Butler
The court is like the cytoplasm because it includes everything inside of the castle , the workers, servants, and royalty like the cytoplasm does in a cell.
The Cytoplasm is like a Court
