We had a couple fundraisers to raise money for prom to make the price a little easier on us. We sold donuts($1,050) put on a talent show($1,375) class dues at($2,000), dance(825) and held free throw($300) contest during ball games; we raised $5,550.00.
With a budget of $5,500 for prom we had to spend wisely while keeping everything affordable with comparison shopping.
After all the cost and comparison shopping we came up with a cost of $5,491.29 but our income was $5,550.00 so we stayed within our budget.

Resources Summary
Throughout our journey of planning a prom we have learned that money doesn't come easy; also, time management is key. One of the resources that we used was the students of Jasper High to have them complete a survey to help choose themes, food, and decorations. Another was articles from magazines that gave us ideas and good deals for our local businesses like catering and music.
